Kordell Stewart said he could play better at QB right now than JR is playing. Skip pretty much said Kordell should have never played QB but agreed he would still be better than JR. Seems like JR is becoming a punchline.

That's what happens when you play for the Raiders. Their organization is a joke.

You can only use this excuse for so long. He has a decent running game and their defense has shown itself to be pretty stout at times this year.

He has had zero good coaching since he's been there. He never had a chance.

Skip was pretty harsh saying he always knew he was going to be a bust and the only reason he got drafted that high was because of the terrible Notre Dame defense and LSU's good receivers.

There is a lack of discipline in Oakland. When the HC breaks the jaw of an assisstant, something is "a little screwy". Jamarcus doe snot have the temperment to survive in this type of atmosphere. He needs regimented discipline and then he would have a CHANCE of success. Whithout it, no chance.

I'm not making excuses because when you get paid that kind of $ you should be able to discipline and motivate yourself. He obviously cannot.

Have they even watched any of his games? I know he is not the greatest but damn he must have 10 dropped passes a game. They have no wide outs that would even see the field for any other team.

It's not all JR's fault!

only kooolaid drinkers say its not JR's fault now

and blame the coaches, players, al davis, etc. for JR not being able to hit an open receiver

he couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel

Then maybe he needs to demand a trade.

I have watched them play. In pre-season I was a little optimistic.

True, they lack skill at WR. A QB rating as low as it gets needs more than just bad WR's. His throws are frequently off the mark. His accuracy is not good.

I have watched his games. His WRs are garbage but JR may be the most inaccurate QB I have ever seen in the NFL. He misses open guys on almost every series.

Passes that should be touch - like flairs or screens - also leave his hand like they're fired from a fricking cannon. This happens every game too. Call it Jeff Blake syndrome or whatever, but as a total package it's hard to watch.

How much coaching is required to hit an open receiver running down the field? That's just basic accuracy.

"See that WR running behind the defense? Lay it up so he can run under it."

Russell sucks in the NFL as do most highly ranked QBs that come out college. Russell=Ryan Leaf.
