The first sign of things to come was Kentucky 2007. The 2007 team however still had influences of a previous culture. You no longer hear about playing 60 minutes or excellence. You hear about what Miles WANTS to do.

This is a most excellent point that really cuts to the heart of the matter. "Playing for 60 minutes" yielded many satisfying results in games that were being played as well as future games. You could count on the team making maximum effort-win OR lose. I really miss that intensity. Great point Tiger n Texas.
