The only difference between online play is that xbox has more people. Do you really want to pay for that?

Guys, if you don't want to pay for the service, than that's your prerogative, but for the minute charge of less than 4.50/month, you get much more out of the NXE than you do from Sony's store. I have both systems, and I can objectively state this as fact.

The obvious benefit of the PS3 is the web browser, but without flash, I think it is useless. The main benefit of the 360 is Netflix streaming access. I also appreciate the new Last.FM integration that is coming along. The Facebook access is give or take for me, but it is going to be available nonetheless. What you are also forgetting is that with a Gold membership (the one you pay for) is that you get a bunch of perks that non-paying Live members don't, such as access to demo's early, free themes and gamer pics, etc.

Don't use the $50/year argument to detract from the Live experience, it is well worth it. Would I rather free? Of course, but I'm OK with the way it is now.

Killzone 2 is a must have. Modern Warfare 2 looks like it is going to be sick. Also Operation Flashpoint 2 looks like its going to be very solid.
