I can tell you, I was joking about Niel Weiner. The problems you listed are the same reasons why Howell left Zachary.

It didn't matter what Howell did or didn't do as far as getting the Drakes son recruited. Howell would have been out no matter what. They wanted a guy in there for 5A ball. They thought Weiner was the guy. He still might be. He's trying to incorporate and offense that no kid at ZHS has played. They've been on the Wishbone offense for 6 years
I don't know if Weiner is the answer but it'll be interestin to see what happens. Howell went 3-7 or 2-8 his first year at Zachary.

Catholic and Central may both move up after friday's game, based on strength of schedule. Even the loser Friday will have played a team with 4 wins. STM beat Catholic and Zachary, but STM is 2-2 overall, which doesn't help our district.
