We will start to see a slow erosion in recruiting with this next class we sign. The bad PR regarding Miles and the LSU fanbase coupled with the mediocre product being seen on the field will begin to have an effect. The stud blue chippers want to play for the hot program and coach and right now that is Saban, Meyer and I would even throw Kiffin in there. The perception of Miles is becoming reality in the eyes of many of these blue chippers. LSU is not the sexy program it has been the last few years and with the 4-5 losses we see this year will be further tarnished in the eyes of these kids. It is just human nature.

In LSU's case, I beg to differ. As long as the program keeps winning records they will be fine. Look at the 2011 verbals they just got. Huge early commits. If that class is down with the talent in the state and many of the kids go out of state, I'll agree with you. But until then......

That's a moronic, pessimistic and damaging post. You must be a Bama fan in disguise. You sure as hell sound like one.

seriously, its moronic to think that LSU's recruiting will just drop off because we have a couple of off years
I will give you that it may drop off nationally but that is a luxury for our program that focuses on our home state of Louisiana and the surrounding areas, particularly east Texas.
As long as LSU has a football program, most recruits will want to play for us and represent the state. That is fact.

You are certainly not someone that I would want to have fighting in a fox hole with me. Gave up and quit already on a bunch of kids ranked number 4 with a chance to have a good team. Recruits don't want to play for cowardly fans like you -- that I agree with.
