Bad News/Good News 50% chance of Rain

Brees hasn't played in the rain since 2005. That Game was his last as a Charger. It was the game where he separated his shoulder.
He only played 2 quarters and finished the day completing only 8 passes for 68 yards while being sacked 3 times and fumbling on his last play, leading to a Tatum Bell 1 yard TD run.
His 6'0 frame and smaller hands makes it harder to throw a wet ball. This makes him think longer before lets go of the ball, which in turn, exposes himself to a vicious hit.
The Good news: Edwards had a 47.6 QB rating in his only game in the rain. 9 of 26 for 161 yards, he was sacked 3 times, and threw 3 INT (2 TD's though).
If it Rains, will we have a rookie RB pass protecting the Franchise?

Breesus played in the rain last year when we went to Tampa Bay.

Good news is they will also have to put up with the elements. Maybe some short underneath pass routes to the receivers, Reggie out in the flat Pierre out of the backfield both capable receivers .

From what I remember Brees threw pretty decently in the rain but everyone was dropping the ball

You're making way too much of a deal over this. We played in the rain in London and won and played in the rain in Tampa and lost last year. In otherwords, it doesn't matter.
Drew played in the Big Ten in college. Colston played college ball on Long Island. It's not like these guys have never faced adverse conditions. You just go out, make minor adjustments, and move on.

Breesus will place angels around the stadium and they will form a dome of protection from the rain. It never rains on Breesus, you should know that by now.

And lets not forget playing in the snow too.

Same factor for both teams, both are pass dependent. Who ya think is more wet ball accurate Edwards or him? I'll go with the water walker.

don't remember, only under split stats it doesn't have a precipitation column for 2006-2009. 2005 says 1 game and shows the production.
