Looking for hotel in or around Athens, GA

We're on several waiting lists for hotels in Athens, but does anyone have a reservation that they are going to cancel? I'd love to take it off your hands...

good luck finding something.
the only thing I could book was the Microtel in Athens and it was the last room left...and we booked that a few months ago.

Try outlying towns. Winder, 20 miles away with easy access to Athens, Jefferson, 22 miles and on I-85 are 2 choices. It won't be Athens, but it's an easy drive.

We booked a room in Atlanta for $79 a night. It is an hour and a half away, but not too bad.
