On the parade grounds? I saw one there, but don't remember the game...

Regardless congrats to the original poster, it's a well known fact you don't get married on a game day in our circle. That however, was acceptable.

Wishing all the luck in the world to a successful and enjoyable marriage. However, I think the unity of two people is best served in another venue, maybe a CHURCH!! Maybe the celebration of your 40th or 50th birthday would be better suited to a tailgate party prior to a football game. Looks like a lot of MBAs and PhD were at that gathering. Best of luck! Hopefully when a major issue needs dealing with (aging parents, illness etc) You will be able to deal with it as a supportive couple! Congrads!

LOL... Yea, another person also said that about the kiss.. I was waiting for "Hold That Tiger" to strike up.. There was a short delay from the DJ... I think it had more of a Cajun wededing style to it. I know it's not for everyone. Many people passing by stopped in for awhile to watch, but everyone seemed to enjoy it. We also did a good job of decorating with tailgating and wedding theme. We were happy with it. A church wedding is not always the way to go. We had a couple of personal reasons why we didn't wed in our church. We do attend mass ever sunday in our community and had the blessing of our priest for the wedding. We also had a very appropriate prayer said by the judge during the ceremony. Well, like I said we were very happy with the outcome, and all our family and friends had a nice time.. :)

Sorry, ZackMorrisPhone... was just picking back at ya.. No harm done dude.. :)

I know some people don't think things done like that are the correct way, but most of the feed back has been very positive on it.. You may have felt different if you would have attended..
