What the frick is up with the Notre Dame hype? They have looked like absolute garbage from what I've seen. No better than last year.

cfn always has good stuff (best cfb site on the internet imo), and they have an accompanying article explaining the cincinnati call. pete fiutak knows that cincinnati won't be the best team or second best team in the country, but he understands the bcs principles and voters' tendencies. he knows that in the big east cincinnati has a clear bcs path, rather unfairly, and that they will be favored to win the rest of their games. unfortunately, any undefeated bcs team will be voted in over any 1-loss team, even if that is cincinnati over texas or cal or penn state.
