Why are they suddenly so confident they will sign Reed and Seastrunk? Do they know something I dont know? Have any of them said something recently to make them believe that?

Do they know something
Good question, but highly unlikely

Some comments Ladarius Owens made on a Bham talk show last week pretty much let the cat out of the bag....
LINK
Nevermind, they deleted the interview, figured it wouldnt be up too long, I'm sure AU didnt want what he said out for public consumption

If I had a dollar every time a committed player said something about top-rated prospects coming to that school, I would be a wealthy man.
Shep and AJ McCarron were both notorious for it last year.

T Reed would not suprise me if he ended up at AU.

because Reed is coming to Auburn this weekend and they are all coming for the Iron Bowl.

I'm having trouble finding what Owens said in the interview. Can someone tell me what he said on the radio interview?
Wouldn't be surprised if Reed went to Auburn, would be surprised if Lache did.

I'm not going to say exactly what he said cause it's obvious AU doesnt want it out there considering the interview was taken down. I was listening live and immediately thought he's giving WAY too much info.
I'll put it like this, remember that ESPN article when lache wore AU socks, LSU wristbands etc. the first line of the article was:
"Running back Lache Seastrunk (Temple, Texas/Temple) is going out of his way to throw people off the trail of where he is going to play college football."
Two weeks later he was in BR for 6 days, after the six day trip, LSU was considered the leader...mission accomplished.

but he put all those miles on that car, he's a lock

So I guess that 6 day BR vacation was just to throw everybody off and make everybody believe that LSU is his leader, huh?
Seems like he's playing games if this is true.....or it could be that Owen's doesn't know what he talking about and only Lache really knows who's his leader.
This shite happens every year. Everyone thought up until the last final days that Debose and maybe another from the Seminole trio was coming here based on Shep's comments.

We all love Shep but in the end, he was wrong about most things unfortunately last year.
Though, it's not necessarily that he's lying or wrong, but he's getting bad information. Like a lot of people who pay Tenn and Auburn sites now. Right now those two services are feeding their fan bases silly info to pump up subscriptions.

Yeah...OR...he threw Auburn off by telling them what they wanted to hear. Goes both ways and no one will know until he signs.

The stuff with Auburn is pretty much unprecedented. The fans are getting excited because of visits. Not even commitments.

I've only seen the clips from the Soup (mostly the dance-offs), but it seems like the craziest show ever. It makes Pee Wee Herman's show from the late '80s and early '90s seem normal by comparison.

actually, the "my name is.....and I like to dance" parts are by far the least crazy. It's all the other parts that make Pee Wee Herman seem normal.

Yeah, Joel showed a couple of clips that feature the monster with the unibrow and the tall black guy with the unique hats.
I wish Hip Hop Harry would make an appearance on the show sometime.
