this article and post cracks me up. Why not go into bert jones, tommy casanova and mike williams signed by cholly mac or jimmy taylor and billy cannon signed by paul dietzel?
Here is an equally ridiculous question. Did anyone at Alabama accuse saban of winning with Shula Players? Or even better, the reason that Miami was 11-5 last year was bc saban coached them two years ago

The one thing that Guilbeau and most people can't get through their heads is the fact that most of the players SABAN signed would have signed with LSU regardless who the coach was at the time.Miles has matched SABAN in recruiting according to the recruiting experts.He also won a national championship by coaching up the material he had on hand.I know many may criticise him as being dumb but the proof is in the pudding.He makes nearly 4 million a year. How much do those criticising him make a year? It is a lot easier to criticise than to be correct.

Saban signed Jamarcus Russell? That's not the way I remember it. Also, I find it funny that Saban gets credit for players he didn't sign but coached for even a bit, and also for players that he recruited but Miles coached. Does Saban get credit for creating the world? I mean he has lived on it after God created it.
