Staying on the field is also possible because Scott has willingly stepped into the fullback spot. During the win over Vanderbilt, Scott went to Miles and urged him to keep running the scheme with him and Williams together.

Maybe not a news flash, but today's article just reaffirms what a class guy Charles Scott is. One year ago at this time he was viewed as one of the best running backs in the nation. Keiland now has a grip on the #1 spot. Instead of sulking about getting far fewer carries, he encourages and embraces the role of fullback in order to help the team. Charles Scott deserves HUGE props.

I would too. It sure beats standing on the sidelines while we run a one back set with KW or 5 WR set.

Yes, that's been apparent for quite some time. People with this kind of attitude succeed in life, and I expect Scott will do well whether it's in the NFL or some other career. He represents himself and the program with lots of class. I feel pretty much the same way about KW; he and Scott are two bright, talented and classy individuals.

He's a senior leader. I was impressed that he will be a blocker with no comment. He just wants to win, baby!

This will be a great thing imo. You know when you have two or more players that start workin together and big things start happening. This is the kind of thing that can really pull this team together. Maybe KW feels really confident with CS leading the way and sir Charles sees this. Props to the truck for doing this for the benefit of the team. I hope we start seeing more of this.

CS represents what is needed in college and pro sports. Putting the needs of the team ahead of personal needs is something that is rare in todays atheletes. You sir are the needle in the haystack and do LSU proud as a student athelete.
