I like Jim Hawthorne, He is the voice of the tigers to me, but i do remember Ferguson, he was my dads voice of the tigers, to each his own, in my dads days u didnt get many Tv Broadcasts, so people really depended on furguson to tell it like it was, and he did that better than Hawthorne

This. Hawthorne took over just as I was becoming aware of such things. I remember Ferguson did announcing but he was just enough before my time that I can't compare the two.
