I have a question. If we have 350+ yards offense, and <250 yards and < 14 pts givin up on defense and win by > or = 2 touchdowns this week will the miles haters be satisfied and silenced and also if at the end of the season if it turns out > or = 10 wins will anyone admit they were wrong?

I'm not a Miles hater(kinda like him actually).

That said, this is a silly post because it could be written to say the exact opposite and the answer would be the same from the other side.

Simply put, few if any will come in and say, "Miles is great after all" should we win 10+ and few if any of those who love him will come in and say, "gee, he kinda sucks" if we lost 7+.

I feel like I was proof reading a MATLAB or C++ logic statement.....

That being said, I do not think anyone can doubt him if there are stats like that put up.. consistantly

10 wins works for me FWIW I like Miles and pull for his continued success. He is a much better human than most of the SEC coaches and a great coach.

Well thats my point there is no satisfying his haters and do not listen to any reason and only feed on negativity. I like Les but if at the end of the season we have 5 or more losses no matter what the circumstances of those losses I will say that its time to make a change.

He has though. Only what one season with less than 10 wins what more do you want?

A lot of the frustration is not about wins and losses or stats. It's about realizing and not realizing potential.

I think we have the talent to have a great team. It is painful to see underachievement.

You'll be in the minority. In the past, I've found that when people defend a coach and later on, the coach is found wanting, the people do one of two things.

1)Pretend they never really thought that much of him or...

2)Say, "yeah, but unlike you other idiots, I waited for real evidence. You guys still didn't know what you were talking about way back then".

GUARANTEED. Happened under Dinardo. Happened with Tepper. Happened with Malveto. At some point in the future, will happen again with some other coach. Period.

only one season of underachievement. USC has more talent than we have but we have matched them over miles' tenure. Things happen sometimes the ball bounces the other way.

Not everyone whom offers a critical assessment of our team hates Miles. I like him. I live in a state that hates him. If Alabama hates him he has got to be good.

The team did not look sharp or awake last weekend. Them is the facts.

First off, the subject line is lousy. Really, it announces the word "hate."

Second, I haven't seen people expressing "hate" towards our Coach. What many people don't like is the kind of play we saw at Washington, particularly in the first half.

Me, I love the Coach and all the Coaches and all the players. But hey, if we stink up the joint, we stink up the joint, that's just the way it is.

But, we didn't stink like Georgia or Oklahoma or even Ohio State.

We got a great team who is going to win a lot of games because our Coaches and our Players know how to correct mistakes.

Gooooo Tiiiigers

I miss DiNardo. Could y'all bring him back? Football season was much more fun for me.

Many of these posts are idendtical to the Arizona St. game after Pelini's first game as DC, with so called bad stats, and look how that all turned out.
