Saturday BYU takes on Tulane
LINK
Friday, Sept 11
7:00 pm
J.W. Marriott Hotel Ballroom
614 Canal Street
New Orleans, LA
Prior to each week's game, the BYU football team will conduct and participate in weekly firesides.
The weekly pre-game devotionals will feature musical numbers and spiritually-based messages from selected players, as well as Coach Mendenhall and his wife, Holly.
Fans wishing to attend the weekly firesides are encouraged to attend the meetings scheduled for their respective areas. Following is a schedule of this year's firesides.
As a reminder, the firesides will be held in the chapel and proper attire is recommended. Also, those attending are reminded that it is not appropriate to film or record meetings inside the chapel.

Those 5 Tulane fans are louder than hell. Don't be intimidated because you are on their home turf though.

I read that there are 36 married players on the BYU team. Wow, so much for the college experience

That first post qualifies as a rant for a Mormon.

A fireside is a devotional.
This is an opportunity to come and meet the BYU team in person as well and to hear their testimonies.

Posted on 9/8/09 at 12:53 pm to TyDetmer14
will they be serving coffee?
Posted on 9/8/09 at 12:53 pm to Elleshoe
Utah isn't a very colorful place, I know a black guy that's playing JUCO ball somewhere in Utah and he said he gets invited to Family Fun Nights all the time.

Their church did teach kids up until about the 70's the only way black people could get into heaven is they were slaves.
The real question is will this be an open bar event
