again unless its in the Rose Bowl. That's what Jordy said on his show this morning. Apparently Miles told him that on the way back to BR. How do ya'll feel about this?

a home and away against USC would be pretty sweet.

That's horrible if true.

I think we should man up and set up a series with the USC Trojans.

So I guess it means more Tulane, ULM, ULL, La Tech, and maybe a home and home with SELU on the schedule in the following years.

the problem isn't the west coast trip, the problem is a west coast trip with a 9:30 CST kickoff

no problem with it. seems to take a toll on teams. Look at the West/East teams that have to do it in the NFL. Usually gets ugly. I'd rather LSU play BIG 12/ACC/ even a Big ten home & home than a Pac 10 but that's just me.

I could give a crap about USC

A home/away game with Michigan would be pretty cool right now.

Jet lag does not set in until two days after the departure. It really did effect LSU on Saturday after arriving late Thursday. Those fans who do not beleive this are stupid.

While I understand the sentiment, given the time issues in this past game, I hate such blanket statements with regards to OOC scheduling.

We, as a program, should remain open-minded about such things. Playing teams, such as Washington at home on occasion, outweighs the potential negatives, in my opinion.

Glad hawaii isn't on the schedule. Kickoff would be set for midnight.

Agreed, I've gone to Cali multiple times. Most of those were for a week or longer. I never got used to the time change the entire time and was tired throughout.

I agree. Shouldn't say make a blanket statement like that based off of that game experience.

I would say I'm not doing it at 7:30 Pacific time again. Not "I'm not going back there again."

That's great news. Schedule games with ACC, Big 12, Big East teams. there's plenty of enough options. We don't have to go way the hell over there. This game happened for one reason...Mark Emmert(sp). It was great, fun, but one is enough

It probably was a very expensive trip on top of the jet lag. How much will it affect the preparation for the game Saturday? At least it is a home game and the team has a little more time to adjust.

Because there aren't any good teams east of the Rocky Mountains? Apparently the travelling was harder on the guys than any of us are understanding.
