Most teams playing for National Championship use old school tactics and runs the score up on teams they are suppose to beat and play to humiliate the others. Miles plays not to show his hand for SEC play. That's what I see, and I wish he was more aggressive Vandy

Jim Tressel's 2002 Ohio State team disagrees, as does Stoop's 2001 Oklahoma Sooners team.

I think once Les realized our D stunk he took a more conservative tack. Just bring home a win.

I agree just win, but there are games where he could run the score up just like last years Bowl game. So all I am saying is if you have them down let the back up players or the starters whoever is in keep playing the game instead of just trying to run out the clock.

too conservative bring back mac and paul lyons alternating with bert jones but he did know how to run up score check out timeoout against notre dame with 15 seconds to play to score 28-8. he would have been castigated these days but it was really funny looking at ara.

you are right, in order for Miles to finally get to a national title game, we need to run up the score.......oh, wait.

It obviously works well for Oklahoma, they always manage to win their big BCS bowl games, oh wait

yep with that thought process Florida hasn't won 2 out of 3 running the score up like 72 1st game last year and 50 against us.

I honestly don't think that Miles chose not to run the score up. If you think that you weren't watching the same game I was.

If that was the case he would not have taken the timeout to end that first half..
