And before Miles had arrived at OSU, no body feared OSU or cared. He had the best record at OSU in over 30 years. OSU started moving in the right direction while he was there, not after.

What elite coach would you like: Stoops who can't win a BCS game and loses to the likes of BYU, Boise State and West Virginia? Saban who loses embarrassingly to Utah, not to mention several laying several other eggs along the way? Pete Carroll who manages to blow open invitations to the BCS championships with losses to Stanford, UCLA, Cal and Oregon State? (That's four BCS championships he missed out on because he couldn't get a win again mediocre teams).

How about Mack Brown. How is it that at Texas, one of the top 2 or 3 best recruiting grounds in the US, he consistently falls short with only one conference championship and one NC. How is that he loses consistently to OU who depends on Texas players to beat him?

Is Miles perfect? No. But gee whiz.

You just can't reason with folks who think that if Miles would just leave, then boy oh boy!!

Bill Bilecek (sp, sorry) would race down to coach LSU,

Saban would move back as DC

Pete Carroll would want to be the OC

Spurrier would be hired as a QB coach....

I'm not going to quote everything you just sayed....

But you are saying that Miles made OSU intimidating? No offense, but that is laughable. At the time Miles was there No one was shaking In their boots on a National Scale. Plus he did improve the program and then appeared to plateau. It took Gundy to bring it to excellence.
