He was definitely one of the highlights on defense last night. Let's hope that the "most improvement happens between the first and second games" adage is true for the rest of the D.

We will be fine on D. With guys like him on man coverage, we will learn when we can bring pressure from the corners. I'd like to see some more pressure from the front four so we can get some hurried throws that will allow us to force more INT's. Cutrera played his heart out, he looks faster and stronger. He was swarming the ball well and bailed us out on several plays. On the road, first game, give UW and Locker credit, they are a different team with him. I think early on last season b4 he got hurt, they played really tough....we still won and I love how JJ protects the ball, unlike, ahem, starts with L and ends with ee. Next week we will put it all together. Id love to be 4-0 with my tickets in hand for another road trip to UGA. Seattle, is amazing, but the rain sucks. Awesome trip.
