Congrats to LSU

1. All the LSU fans were great, though not as crazy as advertised. A lot of them looked shell shocked deep into the 4th qtr.
2. We have had a lot of good teams (Sooners, Ohio St and USC)visit Husky stadium recently, but I think LSU had the most team speed.
3. Patrick Peterson is a stud. He should get the game ball. He made at least 5 big plays which included the TD saving tackle, great coverage on the deep route in the endzone and the one on one tackle of Locker to prevent a 1st down.
4. Jake Locker has really developed into a well rounded QB.
5. Atmoshpere was pretty good considering school has not started, 0-12 last year and a lot of the fan base still feel alienated by Try Losingham.
6. Sark has things going in the right direction. 50+ recruits at the game.
I am now a big Tiger fan the rest of the season. We are hoping LSU lives up to their ranking and what we really saw was an improved pack of Dawgs

Good post. I hope Washington contends for the Pac-10 this year, not only to help LSU look good, but because i think ya'll have a solid football team. See ya'll in 2 years (I think) in Death Valley

I'm hoping this as well. If anything, hopefully this was the metaphorical equivalent of the Huskies waving smelling salt under LSU's noses

I challenged you to come back on sunday and here you are. Man, I underestimated your squad. Or over estimated ours. Either way UW is gonna be a good team this year and I was wrong about the crowd and the huskies. Great game and good luck.

However, I'm afraid reality should be setting back in for you in about 2 weeks.
As for us...we were 3-5 in the SEC this year and will struggle to match that this year.

thanx for the kind words. Huskies really played inspired football. Jake Locker is the REAL DEAL - west coast version of Tebow. Couple notes in passing: ESPN coverage was terrible. Officiating (SEC. i think)sucked. Couple of very questionable calls against Washington. Good Luck Huskies for a great season! And of course, GEAUX TIGERS !!!!
