Dude played the game of his life. Like I fully admitted earlier, if he continues to trust his reads, and react at full speed, he could really go a long way in redeeming himself in the eyes of nay-sayers (like myself).

Looked good. Can he stay healthy? Speed is not a concern for me anymore.

Wrong about what?

He couldn't make the 2-deep on Bama's roster and probably couldn't start on another SEC team save Miss State.

It's not his fault. He's doing the best he can. It's a disgrace the lack of talent in our LB corps... How in the hell did this happen. Jacob should be playing mop up duty. He's about as talented as Thomas Dunson.

One lucky pick 6 ain't gonna change that.

Not trying to blow sunshine here, but he made a couple of big tackles in open-field as well.

You are only comparing him to Dunson because they are both white. You seriously think he moves like Dunson?

He broke so quick on that pick six. He literarlly came out of no where. If Our safties were playing with the same speed and reading things like he was, we wouldve incept two more passes easy that Locker overthrew. Cutrera was on fire last night.

Cutera made quite a few plays beside the interception. He played a good game. Better than how he played last year or the stereotype some people would like to remain a self fullfilling prohecy.

There was one play in particular, besides the int, that really caught my eye. Washington ran a lead sweep and had the DE hook blocked. Cuterra busted it to the outside and ran through one of the lead blockers and forced the play back to the inside. Riley ended up making the tackle for a minimal gain.
I was impressed. Let's hope he stays healthy and continues to play well.

I wasnt wrong - he was consistently as far from the ball as possible on most plays last year- not sure if that was a product of terrible scheming or his lack of talent

he did play well last night, but it doesnt take away from the fact he was our weakest LB last year, whether he remains that, cant say for sure, but it was a good start
