Guess I should try and watch the game again, although it will be painful. I just didn't see Jefferson play the same game most of you guys apparently saw. Is it because he is more mobile than Lee was last year and made some decent gains on the ground? His throwing was very inconsistent IMO.

He wasn't great but Jefferson is the least of my concerns.

Lee of last year would have forced a couple of balls JJ threw away.

JJ was a bright spot in an otherwise dismal performance. what exactly do you expect him to do ?

I would not be worried about offense and deense should be improved next week vs Vandy. If it is not then you can start with your "world is ending" crap.

he had zero blocking and Miles handcuffing the offense. Jefferson is a beast, just sucks he has to play for Miles.

he's a freaking sophmore in his first real regular season start on the road against a much improved washington team from last year with new coaches and players with new attitudes desperately trying to win their first game at home, not to mention they have had limitless time to prepare for LSU to come play in their house thanks to a bogus NCAA rule...

I am happy to take what you described as AVERAGE PLAY and a WIN from this game and move forward

To the original poster,

I can give a long post but I will sum up JJ last nite in two words..........decision making.

Bottom line, championship qb's are the champions not because they have strong arms or really accurate. Its because they make the right decisions 9 times out of 10 that helps their team win.

Matt Flynn or Matt Mauck were not as talented as the freak of nature Jamarcus Russel who could toss a football 40 yards on his butt. But they were better decision makers in my view because they didnt have the talent JR had. JR would take chances when didnt have to or not take chances when he could.

if you need something to be worried about fine....

worry about not being able to run the ball up the middle

worry about not being able to get off the field on 3rd down

You're the biggest armchair QB ever. Just STFU.
