when was the last time LSU allowed this to happen

i think the last time this happened was 2001 UF, but UF was really good/talented that year

do we have to go back to the curley years to find this feat?

600 yards vs. AZ state back in 05.

They were a 6-6 team that year.

I bet Washington can say the same thing 12 weeks from now. They won't be at the Rose Bowl, but they will get 6-7 wins this year.

Actually you are totally wrong......the DEFENSES are better than they were in 05 but I forgive you because you think Chip Kelly is awesome.

Give Locker a little credit and blame the rest on that deep zone, we gave up 400 yards by playing way to conservative trying to avoid the deep ball. I don't know if Chavis is not yet convinced of our secondaries ability, or was just playing not to lose instead of playing to win.

Actually you shouldn't speculate as to the PAC-10 taking a step back. Washington may be taking a couple of steps forward.. It is quite obvious people don't follow Washington on this board and are just basing their opinions on last years team. Washington has a good coach who is bringing a winning attitude and they will win a few games this year. Did the Tigers play great? Probably not, but they found a way to win. The defense improved in the second half and JJ played pretty good for his third career start in a hostile environment.

We gave up only 169 yards in the first half against ASU, but turned around and gave up 391 in the second half playing zone defense.

Yes, that team was ranked high and went to a bowl, but they finished 7-5.

UW was 4-9 in 2007 with 5 losses of 9 at 7 points or less and only losing to USC by 3. All this with no decent offensive coaching.

They kept up with a really good BYU team and lost by 1 point on a BS celebration penalty call. Then lost to OU without Polk who was injured and then lost to Stanford in week 4 after losing Locker.

UW's biggest issue last year was how important those two guys were. They were the entire offense. Without them, they made MSU look uber-talented on the offensive side of the ball.

UW will be a 0.500 team this year with a chance to go to a bowl.

With losses against LSU, ND, USC, Ore, Ore st, UCLA, and Cal, the Huskies wont even go to a bowl
