do they not realize that we visit stadiums that push 90-100,000 people nearly every week?

And they are megaphones to the open sky while the over hanging roof of Husky Stadium reflects the noise right back onto the field. Also, do those larger stadiums have as many seats between the goal lines as we do?

If size = volume, why is Michigan Stadium so quiet? Stadium design plays a factor, which is why Qwest Field is significantly louder than the significantly larger FedEx Field in the NFL. Qwest Field was modeled after Husky Stadium.

Because Clausen never gives them a reason to cheer.

I can't get to youtube at work...would someone please post LSU's response to USC's loss to Stanford for Snoop Dawg?

Snoop, our stadium is not constructed like the Big House. Trust me...the sound stays on the field; come to BR in 2012 and find out for yourself.

The overhanging roof certainly contains a lot of noise.

but I'm curious as to what being between the goal lines has to do with anything... are you saying that fans - no matter their distance from the field - are louder between goal lines?

so if you field a group of fans to stand on the grass in the back of the endzone, their voices don't carry? I think i'm confused.

Because of the people who attend. They are introverts and such, much like the folks attending UW games.

Ya got 2 things going at LSU (1) stadium size and (2) loud, partying extroverts. Game over!

Dude, one of your endzones is in bumfrick relative to where the field is. In TS, everyone is almost on top of the field. Look at the difference between the two. Look where the seats are. It's really not even worth comparing.

Congratulations. You have a tin roof over your stadium.
