Saw the sign by Maxwell's on Perkins. Anybody have the scoop (no pun intended) on this place?

Saw this the other day as well. Now seeing the menu, I REALLY want to try this place out. Looks interesting.

Their menu looks awesome...lots of seafood/Louisiana related items.
Also, they have an impressive ice cream list.

I went by there last week and met one of the owners. Nice guy, but they are at least a few week away from opening.

That building its in has been vacant for a while and its fairly new. I wonder what the holdup has been as far as getting the ball rolling with a tenant.
That is a prime area right there so Im surprised it has taken this long for someone to do something with it.

Will-which brother did you meet? The space is theirs and they wanted to expand after Heads and Talis moved, and held one space for a business they had been wanting to do.

Got a chance to go by tonight for the pre-opening trial run. The pizza was amazing, appetizers were very good and the ice cream excellent.
Would definitely recommend to everyone to give it a try. Best part, kids under 12 get a free scoop of ice cream with their meal.
