How do you think we will do without Grant and Will Smith for the first 4 games? Do you think these guys will make an immediate impact once they return?

3-1

Of course I would've said 3-1 with Grant/Smith. IMO I don't think we're losing much.

I can see 3-1, with the most likely loss being to Philly.

The Lions shouldn't be a problem. No WRs besides Calvin Johnson, not a particularly distinguished O-Line, etc.

Philly will be VERY tough. The main benefit to us is that injuries are decimating their defense right now, so they may have trouble keeping up if Brees starts flinging the ball around and we get a push on the ground.

Buffalo could be a problem in the air thanks to TO, but they'll have problems on the ground because Marshawn Lynch will be serving his three-game suspension.

I can see us beating the Jets if their offense isn't clicking 100%. They're short on WRs and have a rookie QB who just got rocked by the Ravens the other night. Their defense is aggressive and good, but we've got the talent to overcome that.

I honestly can see the Saints being 3-1 or 4-0. Im just saying it's a possibility. I know everyone is high on Phili but Im not so sure that they're going to be dominant. Buffalo doesn't look very scary due to the fact they will be without Lynch and Im just not scared of Edwards or TO. I think our line will be fine and I think GW will be able to fill whatever weaknesses we have with different looks. That being said even if we came out 2-2 that wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Need to go atleast 3-1, that's the easiest part of the schedule.

4-0

In order to go 16-0, you have to win the first four, right?

2-2 is logical, 3-1 is very possible and would be great. 4-0 would creat some serious havoc.
1-3 is unnacceptable and would make the playoffs damn near impossible. 0-4 would cause riots.

Can we make that a game winning field goal from say....58 yards?
that bounces off the cross bar and goes through?!?!

I love and hate those games..
But when it falls the saints way...there is nothing sweeter!
