Had Jamaican Beef patties for app. Good, spicy.
Taco Trifecta with Calipso beef, Brisket and rib.
The beef and brisket were really good. They came with fried plantains which were sooooooo freaking good.
Also had a nice Mojito.

I had heard some bad reviews, but I think I may have to try it after these two good ones. It is certainly a reasonable menu.

I've been twice. The 2nd time was b/c some1 else wanted to go. I think if I ever go back, it'll just be for chips n dip and drinks. To me that, along w/ the atmosphere, is the best part of the restaurant. There guac and queso dip are both pretty good.

I think the guy making the post mentioned he has a buddy that runs the place, so that's a little bit suspect.
And I've definitely heard it's a lousy place to eat...

I went a while back and enjoyed it, nothing amazing but good tacos and plantains.
