from an opposing player? The best one I can remember was in late 90's, 1998 I believe, where Champ Bailey played lights out.

+1 Just got finished posting about that game.

Tracy Rocker, in a losing effort, was a primary reason that Auburn didn't allow LSU past midfield but twice all night in '88.

I remember that D-end for Oregon State having a hellified game against us in 04. Was it Swancutt?

Of course, it was the goal line stand in 1959.

Probably Cornelius Bennett back in 86 or 87. The man was ALL over the field and had like 20 tackles. Guy was a freaking beast.

Yeah, I looked up the boxscore and he only had 5 tackles( 2 for loss ) and no sacks. He must have have pressured the hell out of Randall or Jamarcus because I remember Hawthorne calling his name every play. I thought his "boxscore" stats would have been better. I did not see the game live and listened to it on the radio.

As a team, the Va Tech game in '07 defensive performance by LSU was lights out.

PiscesTiger no way, it was the over 10 dropped pass that Hodson had on the money.

before catching the winning td pass Fuller had near 5 drops, that is not counting the near td.

Rocker was great, but if your wrs can not bring the ball in on a sure fire catch you have little hope in moving the ball.
