"It's totally different from last year, when we were running around all over the place sometimes not having a clue what we were doing, not reading the offense and not picking it up quickly in games and also not even lining up correctly," he said. "Now it feels like we're all on the same page.

confirms many beliefs about dumb and dumber, who just so happened to be in charge of the LSU defense.

this quote is resounding.

reminds me of when chad jones and beckwith looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders before a play during the florida game last year.

It makes me feel like all of our defensive porblems last year were complete from the coaches side and that really our defense can be right back where it was at the begginning of the 2007 season easily by the time we head up to UGA.

Kinda ticked as the players were failed by the coaching staff...was a combination Defense of The Seven Dwarfs and the Keystone Kops come to the Ponderosa

Kind of like someone commenting on a second marriage: 'NOW I'm happy. This wife is not like the first one. This marriage will last..."

Only time will tell if the new one (coaching staff) will work, or if all this is just blowing smoke.

That being said, I do believe we are in a much better situation with the new coaches - but the proof has to show on the field.

Les Miles failed our team last year with those idiots. No matter how good or bad his coaches are, he stands around and lets them run the show.

I agree, as would many others.

to his credit though, he DID seemingly "fix" the problems.

it's just wait and see at this point

Roach, I suspect Miles realized early on that Mallory and Peveto needed to look for employment elsewheres.

Would you rather he fired them mid season?

I don't know it'll happen again. I'm not even really going to venture into that right now.
