if you get on WA-16 W towards Port Orchard then hit HWY 3 N take the Bremerton Ferry. It is a car ferry. Should take you about 25-30 mins from Gig Harbor to the Bremerton Ferry. Fee is I wanna say $12-15 there and again back. Bremerton ferry is about 45 mins-hr to Seattle. Nice ferries though. Ferries run until 2am or so. Plenty of time to make it back. Its faster if you just drive towards Tacoma on Highway 16 and go I-5 North....unless you want to take a ferry.
