lol let's not get too homeristic here... The Saints winning 10? Brees went all Marino last year and you didn't even make the playoffs. Cool your expectations.

I disagree. Brees went 99% Moreno with his top targets hurt all year. Brees is the reason we didnt suck. As im sure you know, the problem was the defense and we've made huge improvements. I don't expect Brees to do it again, I don't expect reggie to be healthy, and i dont expect the D to be Raven-like. But i can see a 10 win season, if mostly everyone remains healthy, considering we have 'the easiest OOD schedule in the NFL'
We only won two less games without the positives. If the NFCS cools down a bit from that explosion last year, we can stay healthy, and brees stays at the top of the game, i may even expect 10 wins

Yes the Saints winning 10 sounds like a definite possibility. As the guy above me said, the problem was our D last year, and alot of us truly believe Williams can fix that, including me. If it werent for that crazy blocked fg for a TD, or that shitfrick missed facemask call on Reggie where he fumbled, we woulda beat the Vikings, and the shitty arse D we woulda beat Chicago, Washington, AND Denver.

These are my predictions for our season. Thats an 11 win season while only beating the Bucs twice in the NFC South. Its more than reasonable that this could happen, barring major injuries of course.

the "improvemets" the saints have made have been on paper and their are differences on opinions in how much the saints will be improved
if the saints offense can be close to where it was last year and the defense can resemble 2006, the hype will come

Brees had to go "all Marino" last year to make up for our crappy defense.
When the Saints get to 10 wins this year, Brees won't have near the stats he did in 2008.

Actually, we LSU fans are blinded by our TWO national championship trophies, our SEC trophies & our players who every year go first round.

anyway, the Saints were very unlucky last year losing most games by a few unlucky breaks (and bad D). We had an unlucky season with injuries (led the NFL). If we don't make the playoffs this season, it will be very disappointing.
