Press play on Reuben Randle. This team is hungry and pissed off. I think it will be a great season.

The team had a wonderful attitude at this time last year and there was a great workout video of RFJ going around. He was going to be unblockable and kill every qb/rb we faced.

Just saying.

Everyone just needs to chill the hell out with all of this hype right now. Yes they all look great/jump high/run fast/say the right things. It's August 6th.

I disagree. Last year was the same old, "everybody looks good. We're working hard" kind of thing. You can see this year that there is a new intensity, new work ethic, and new leadership with this team. These guys glow when asked about how hungry they are and how hard everyone is working.

Charles Scott said today that everyone was hungry. I think this team will be special.

i had alot more confidence in the DL personnel/talent level last year than this year - at this time.

In retrospect the dual DC thing was a disaster and the QB situation was worse than anyone thought.

This year the hype on the DL isnt there, but we have a PROVEN bad-arse DC

QB situation most certainly much better now - especially since so much of the SEC is also sporting unproven QB's

i'd say the above items make our situation this off-season a "net gain" from last season (experienced QB and bad arse DC).

I agree with the reason to be optimistic.

Im expecting a 10-2 season

notiger1997, Last year we were coming off a championship and a team that had always been use to winning almost all of their games..this year is different we're focused on getting back to where we should be

I expect this and would be worried if we did not see it. We will know soon enough if they can pull it all together.

Yeah I agree with this. Last year our team was livin the high life and didnt feel the drive to work as hard and that came back and bitch slapped them in the face. This team just has a different feel, you can see it in Scott and Black. THeres A charisma about them and this whole team that is interesting.

I read where Brick Haley was the loudest on the field today.

Brick Haley is a scholar and a gentleman.

Or maybe because Reuben's face is in the same place as the play button??

Hate to say it, but I think some of them might have to be carried off the field on Sept. 5th.

It's hard to remember the last time an LSU team was so collectively focused and hungry, even moreso than the '07 squad. I can tell that this team is going to be special to watch.

I remember the 03 team talking about that. They said after the Arkansas game in 02 they became work horses. That caused them to come into 03 and win

I had Ciron Black in one of my classes this summer, hearing him talk about the team, I think these guys have the right mindset, different than last year. With a little luck and a lot of keeping this mindset, I think it's gonna be a good year
