Does La have any highly rated lbs for next year? I know it is sopose to be a really good class with Hillard and the rest. And when i say highly I mean 4 stars or higher, La is always full of 3 stars lbs.

Beau Fitte looks like a Shaun Lewis type player to me. Small but relentless. Saw some highlights on him when he was a freshman, and he was already a stud then.

I'm assuming you are talking about 2011 LBs

quote:

He's 6-1, 210 lbs of Solid muscle and won state in the 110m and 300m hurdles, and ran legs in the championship 200m and 400m relay teams, and was second in the triple jump. Plus he's an honor student. You would never believe this kid is going into his Junior year if you saw him.

quote:

#5. Beau Fitte/LB/South Plaquemines
- Good feel for rushing the passer(19 sacks as a sophomore). Will be a LB in college. Has the speed to go outside and the instincts to be inside.

Fitte should be a high 4* and his teammate Bradley sylve should also be a high 4* receiver. Sylve already has an offer. They both like the tigers a lot

Going to see both of those guys play this year and will post a report. I'll pretty much be looking exclusively at those two throughout the game unless South Plaqu has some other potential LSU recruits.

Fitte is more like 5'11 but he's a terrific athlete. Hopefully he keeps growing..

Not getting much of a look from us now, but they have another 2010 LB that is pretty good too. Seth Ancar is #37 in the state and a 3* according to rivals and has offers from some of the state schools and Nothern Illinois. He hasn't been evaluated by scout yet, but He had 125 tackles, 27 for losses, 20 sacks, and forced 5 fumbles as the 1a defensive MVP. Not as big or fast as Fitte though, but he is a ball player and has a nose for the ball.

south plaquemines was the best team i saw last year. undersized, but they play so fast.

i think they would have had a shot to win any louisiana state level championship last season.

The distiction between qualifications from just 1A to 2A is huge, not to mention all the way to 5A... You have to judge by competition level, they would have been outsized in just about any upper classification and the speed would still have been there in your Destrehans and such...

When I saw the title, I thought Terrence Cody had just reported to camp.
