Went to City Cafe tonight for all you can eat boiled shrimp and crabs. I ordered the shrimp and my wife ordered the crabs. Each was $18.99. The waitress came out and told my wife that they were running out of boiled crabs but she could bring her 6 crabs for $13.99. When the waitress brought out my shrimp there were only about 10 shrimp on the plate and 1 ear of corn and 1 potato. The shrimp were over cooked and hard to peel. After i finished my 10 shrimp I had to wait for a plate of about 10 more this time no corn and potato. I asked for more potatoes and the waitress said she would have to charge me $1.00 for every two potatoes. I spoke to the manager who said that was their policy but brought us out two potatoes for free. I am usually a big fan of City Cafe but I will not be eating the all you can eat shrimp anymore. Bad service, bad shrimp, bad experience.

city cafe's been going down hill for awhile now ... i quit going there two years ago ... the end zone missed a massive window of opportunity sitting right there next door to scoop that biz up ... but he managed to run an even worse business .. and george's and the times say "thank you very much dumbasses" ..

Yea that would be pretty pathetic if that were the case. I actually agree with Chicken on this and just cause I don't post much on the F&D board doesn't mean I don't read it. I post when something peaks my interest and this did just that. Also, I never resist a chance to call a spade a spade. After Rag posted that link you said that was the only time you ever promoted your place. Truth be told there are a few other post/threads you have made that are on the deleted board where you actually self promoted. You playing innocent in this is laughable to me. I have no problem with you at all, Gugs, but you have been pretty cocky over this IMO.

to be honest, I completely forgot I posted that thread...and yes, a few times i posted that the new location was "close" to being open...but other than that, i mostly just answered questions and was thankful to people who gave praise to the restaurant...outside of those VERY few instances, I never once tried to promote our food OR to get business off of this website...the majority of the business we received from this website was due to other posters posting about it, not from me. i just want that to be clear.
