Will Charles Scott be in contention for the heisman trophy? He's way underrated in Lindy's sec previews top ten running backs nation wide

With the type of offense we will run this year, I doubt it. Hopefully he and KW get a lot of carries and prove me wrong though.

Not a chance. It takes about 1700+ yards to even get mentioned for the Heisman as a running back. Chuck ain't getting that much yardage & there are way too many qb's who will put up huge numbers(Tebow, Bradford, McCoy, etc). I'll put money that a qb wins the award.

I love how people blame the media and other people... instead of realizing that he won't put up the numbers to win it?

why do people always have to blame somebody for shite?

He's a great one, but with Tebow, Bradford and McCoy in the running it will be a tough year for anyone else to make a run.

Scott was getting a lot of love on rivals radio today. Host thought he deserves to get Heisman buzz.

His name isn't Colt McCoy or Tim Tebow, so no.

It is a media award, but the fact he's not a preseason contender is not the fault of the media, but of our athletic department. LSU has not had a Heisman contender since Hodson. We need to do a better job of hyping our athletes.
