"I hadn't had a football in my hands since I left the Dolphins,'' he said. "I didn't want to do it, because it brought up too many memories, all the way back to LSU days, playing in front of 65,000 screaming people. Now I play in front of 50 inmates and guards."
where'd that number come from?

What a damn shame! That guy could flat out tote the rock. Worst decision EVER in LSU football history was not giving him the ball on that 4th and 3 v. Auburn which would have sealed the deal. The guy had something like 230 yards in that game and Dumbnardeaux calls for a play-action roll-out to the left which ended up incomplete.
Auburn went on to win.

Auburn went on to win.

Cecil played in the mid 90's and seating capacity was 80,000...so it's not like he was waaaay off.
That being said, he could also have been referencing playing in Miami since he mentioned Miami in the previous sentence, which I'm guessing would be close to that 65 number.

I remember the awkwardness of Faulk being on the sideline in some of those games.
It's funny to know Faulk is my all time favorite, but know that the Diesel would have been the best.

I wish I hadn't seen that. SO MUCH TALENT! A defense with Takeo Spikes at MLB had no answer for a redshirt freshman. Listen to Mike Godfreid's comments. I've never heard a broadcaster sound so sincerely shocked by greatness.
