The State DVD collection question

Does the new DVD release have all the music that was featured in the original television series? I bought Season 1 on iTunes a couple years ago and was disappointed that some songs had been replaced with very bad generic rock insturmentals.
In the 90s (and maybe even today) MTV original series had free reign to use music that was played on the station. The State took advantage of this and creatively used popular songs in many of their skits.
I would like to support the original troupe by buying the complete series DVD set, but I also want to see the episodes in the way they were supposed to be seen with original music.

I seem to recall reading an interview with Thomas Lennon where he was talking about having to replace all the music before they could put out the DVD.
Comedy central has also been playing some episodes lately, and the music is all changed on those.

Damn. I guess it would be hard to clear the rights to all those songs.

Definitely sucks for sure that they took out all that great music. It's not too bad in most skits but in some it's very noticeable, like the one where the lady has Slash in her house, with no Guns N Roses tunes in that one it's just not the same.
