This guy is an absolute beast! He is the prototypical NFL back. Great size, speed and strength, everything coaches kill for in a RB. And, he rushed for almost 5.0 a pop, which is more than Clinton Portis, Thomas Jones, Frank Gore and Steven jackson. I think he could possibly lead the NFC in rushing this year.

Have you seen his size? Show me more backs in the NFL, include their height and weight, and prove he isn't a beast. Yards per carry is a big indicator (4.8) that he can reach 2,000 yards this season.

Quite a bold statement considering the NFC contains the likes of Peterson, Gore, Portis, Jackson, Turner, Jacobs, Grant, Forte, Williams and Westbrook.

A more reasonable statement would be to say that the Saints have found a competent running back who can allow them to properly balance their offense, which I would agree with.

He has the same ypc as Peterson, better than gore, poris, jackson, turner, grant, and westbrook. only jacobs was better. dude is gonna be so awesome.

I'm sorry, but we are not going to give him over 300 rushing attempts.

He will get 350 touches on the ground in this offense this year. Book it!

I was mostly with you until this. We throw too much for this. Plus, you know Reggie is getting carries. I really like Pierre, but I want him to play a full season until I think he'll lead the NFC in rushing.

I didn't take any shots at Pierre's lack of beastness.

let's figure this one out 2000 yards / 4.8 ypc = 417 carries / 16 games (if 100% healthy) = avg of 26 carries per game.... won't happen buddy. I'm not saying he isn't capable of doing it if he was indeed given 25-30 carries a game. But it won't happen in this pass happy Payton era. Sorry.

Yes I understand. But with his size, he can take the pounding for 30 carries a game. I think he goes over 5 a carry. This was we can take some stress off Brees' shoulder when he is throwing to Devery 15 times a game. I think it could work.

he's gonna carry a huge load for sure, but 350 touches in Paytons offense is a lot IMO.

now that doesn't mean he can't handle 350 touches though

If the Saints have fired Sean Payton and hired Joe Gibbs than your right.

Otherwise you are a total Saintard
