Never had one.
But in Cuba you can get a mean hamburguesa rellena (filled hamburger) stuffed with ham and cheese on the inside or your burger.

They also make their patties with a mix of ground beef and ground mutton. Makes a world of difference.

Its also a Hawaiian thing too I think...
Fried egg on top of most things is great!!! One of my fav Chinese places here in SF serves a combo...2 pork chops topped with a fried egg, 2 chicken wings, 1 egg roll, and rice....SOOOO GOOOOD!!!!

for sandwiches, they usually cut a hole in the top to display the sunny side of the egg

i got this idea a few years ago from Nate Newton. There is a burger called the "big nate" that has a fried egg on it. Fricken awesome!

I grew to hate it.

The ole Cotton Club on highland road use to put it on the club...one of the best clubs I ever had. I have thought many times about taking the sprouts off our club and putting two fried eggs on...but it's big enough.
I was talking with my step mom this week while in Florida, she was remembering a garlic soup she was served in the Phillipenes in the 50's that was server very, very hot and they would crack a raw egg in the soup before serving...she said the egg would poach in the soup as you ate the dish. I am going to try it this weekend.
