im gonna be in louisiana from july 16th to the 19th

Is there any festivals or anything that yall would recommend while I was down there?

not much that weekend....the next week is fun in grand isle.....week before is fun in new orleans.

Don't go to New Orleans at night (too touristy). Make it for a nice brunch and afternoon tour of the Quarter (if you have never been).

A tour of the Antebellum homes between NO & BR is pretty cool as well. Good day trip.

This has to be a joke right??? I hope you realize that the largest city in LA extends beyond the 8 blocks of bars on Bourbon St. The more I think about this statement, the more I think that this may be the stupidest thing ever posted on this board.




To the initial poster: details of your trip and what you are looking to see/do would help. A casual lunch? A great cocktail? A great museum in NOLA? All of this would help....this is not really festival season down here...it;s too hot. Fall and spring are when most festivals take place in LA.
