With Dean....He is batting 5th, 2nd, 1st, or even 4th if he hits with power.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mikie moved to cleanup.

yea he's already one of my favorites. seems like he has a good head on his shoulders and quite confident. i'd love to see him bat 4th if dean stays or 3rd if dean goes.

not gonna complain if he's at 5. could be an rbi machine

he's a better cleanup option than Gibbs

Agreed, but I think our cleanup man will be the Juco transfer guy

If Koeneman has the same HR ability here as he's demonstrated at the JUCO level he seems to be an ideal cleanup hitter to protect Dean. Mikie is so versatile he can literally bat anywhere in the lineup and produce.

Gibbs batting higher than 6 should not be an option IMHO

Yea he is quite confident in himself.
He guaranteed me that he'd hit a homerun in omaha, and he sure nuff did. But like you said he is REALLY confident in himself, I mean anymore confident he'd need a bigger helmet.

I think Mikie is a great young player with nothing but upside. He has confidence and has such a fire in his personality. This kid can do it all!
