He's a beast ag/ righties. Even if they bring in a LH, he's improved dramatically against them. Batting him leadoff will get him at least one more at-bat in the game than if he bats 6th. Keep Schimpf 2nd. Bat Lemahieu [sic] 3rd, Dean 4th, and Mahtook 5th. And if Leon is playing, as I think he should, bat him 6th, and Gibbs 7th.

That is all.

i do like the way that he is selective now. I am pretty confident when he comes to bat. however, I feel the same confident feeling when d.j. does too. That being said, I don't feel this said confidence whenever anyone else comes to the plate lately.

Everybody in the lineup except DJ and Mitchell has been whiffing at the ball

Right. We should go with Buzzy/Mcghee/Pontiff as our 1/2/3 hitters because they're "scrappy."

PM has to get Gibbs out of the 4 hole and move Mitchell up in the order. Mitchell is our best hitter right now.

Any chance Helenihi comes up big with a clutch hit tonight? Could there be anybody more due?

The Texas coaching staff has done a great job at scouting our bats. They know exactly what pitches our batters struggle against.

Definitely do not take DJ out of the 1st hole, he is our best hitter so you want to give him the most at bats.

He is our best hitter with no RBI opportunities.

J-Mitch's batting leadoff would a.) get him more at bats; and b.) would maximize his ability to steal if he gets on. Schimpf is likely to get a healthy dose of breaking balls batting 2nd. Breaking balls to Schimpf = stolen base by J Mitch. J Mitch's ability to pressure the pitcher will open up this offense.
