How did we get "lucky" Monday night.........

I have heard several time we were lucky to win Monday. Out hit out scored and out played Texas. Were we lucky because we came from behind several times?

We weren't lucky. Texas certainly played a fine game and lost a heartbreaker,but its untrue and unfair to our team to say LSU was "lucky".
Heck, Texas had some "luck" last night,themselves. Stuff happens.

Texas was "clutch" in come from behind wins to get here, and we were "lucky" in our come from behind win on Monday. You should know this, accept it as fact, and move on because the rant told you as such.

I would have to say the only thing lucky was texas players hitting homeruns when they havent hit but 1 or two all season. That was the only luck i saw.

Yeah, there is actually a good bit of truth in that. Although I still think that the heat was killing him. I think Augie protected him in the media to some extent.

I'll take a 1-0 win for the National Championship. When Texas wins LSU will have to eat a lot of crow. This board was cocky and just thought the championship was yours from the start.

I think most Texas fans feel that a game 1 "W" was within reach and due to a couple poor coaching decisions it was handed back over to LSU for the taking. LSU took advantage of the opportunity and seized the moment. Give credit where credit is due. LSU won the game and that's all that counts. Here's to a great game tonight.
