so i knew i wouldnt be able to catch the beginning of the game last night, so i told the wife to record it for me. i start watching the recorded game, say 8:30, all is good until i get the to the end, and because the game went over it stopped in the 8th Texas 6, LSU 4. i was furious, and asked my wife(who was on the computer) what was the final score, she looked not realizing the game was over and said Texas won 6 to 4. This morning i am being told i missed on hell of a game.

Your DVR allows you to tape as much as 3 hours over the time scheduled.
1st rule in recording sports.

Lesson #1 when recording live games: Always record at least 5 hours. 99% of the time, you won't miss a pitch or a play.

or you can just tape the shows after the game as well, so basically you can set it to record all night.

You definitely need to get you a more tech-savvy wife!

Never depend on a female for sports info. You are close sir to losing you're man card.

Instead of asking the wife, check td.com

Do you get ESPNU? They will replay the game several times. They will edit stuff out to but at least you will get most if not all of the scoring.
