UT's got good meat in their 3-4-5 guys, they are relatively comparable to our middle order guys. The difference at the plate is our entire lineup is made of really good hitters, whereas UT has a bit of a drop-off.

Pitching-wise our starters are as good as theirs, but their middle-relief is superior to ours. We have the better closer.

Defensively UT is better than they looked in their last game, but LSU has been great defensively since the regionals. I think they are a push defensively.

Not really.

LSU 3-4-5

Blake Dean - .335, 17 HR, 70 RBI
Micah Gibbs - .292, 6 HR, 42 RBI
Mikie Mahtook - .326, 7 HR, 36 RBI

(Ryan Schimpf - .344, 21 HR, 67 RBI) - He is our 2 guy, FWIW...the "meat" starts in the 2 hole for LSU

Texas 3-4-5

Brandon Belt - .335, 8 HR, 42 RBI
Russell Moldenhauer - .243, 1 HR, 11 RBI
Kevin Keyes - .308, 7 HR, 43 RBI

The comparison is a laughable one.
