I will be there as well. I would recommend the trip to Victoria. I lived on Mercer Island for a year and took the Victoria trip many times. It is a great trip although weather can be a problem. Provided the weather cooperates and you have the time, do it.
Also, take a day and head down to the wharf and do the touristy thing. Fish and chips, shopping, etc. Good wholesome fun for the family. On Sat, let the dogs loose and bring em hell.

A few years ago we went to Victoria by taking the boat from Port Angeles and it was only 45min. We thought about going back when we are in Seattle for the game but when I checked into it I was surprised to find out it's almost three hours one way by boat from Seattle @ $150 a head.
Victoria is awesome, and while most people think about the gardens there, it is also the capitol of BC and right in front of the docks is their huge Natural History Museums, alomost the equivelent of our Smithsonians.
