Flights from New Orleans(MSY) to Kansas City(MCI) are $136 round trip.
From the Airport to Omaha it is a 3 hour drive and a cost 250 bucks for a full size car for 1 week from Enterprise.
Not a bad deal if you split the car 4 ways folks.

Yeah man scoop up those Kansas City tickets quick, I was searching around and saw the deal on Travelocity......You could be in Omaha for less the 200 bucks a person with a rental car and a 3 hour drive.

About 400 bucks.......almost double.

damn...still might be worth it with that drive

I'll keep my 200 and drive 3 hours......It's all interstate......like humping it from NO to LC.

Made the drive to Omaha w/ 2 other people (3 including myself) last year. Gas prices we're around $4/gal but I have a car with good gas milage. I also have family in northern Missouri & we we're able to split the drive into 2 days, so traveling expenses were only about $100/person.

It also took you 20 hours to get there. This could be done in a day.
I'm not condoning not driving Omaha, have at it.......I'm just impatient.

My problem is I need an early flight for Saturday and a late flight on Monday.

KC airport to Omaha is 2 hours and 20 minutes I have done this many times. I am flying out of KC on October 8th to Baton Rouge to see Tim Tebow get his arse kicked.
The KC airport is clear on the north side of town closer to Omaha that is why it is 2 hours and 20 minutes.

When you land in KC grab a bite to eat in the area as once you drive about 10 or 15 miles there is a whole lot of nothing until you get right ourtisde of Omaha. But it's a typical mid-west drive, a lot of fields.....
At least from what I remember.
