Going to NYC today, and am looking for a spot to watch the game with fellow Tiger fans. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I haven't heard of a get together for the games this weekend. I'll probably go to The Village Pourhouse on 3rd Avenue. Good sports bar with a lively crowd and excellent beer selection. If I hear anything from the alumni association up here I'll post it on this board. You can always consult the NY metro alumni association website as well.

I think Turtle Bay is owned by a couple LSU alumnus, you should check that out.

Doesn't Village Pourhouse advertise on Mets games?

We went to NYC to visit some friends from college over the Alabama game weekend.. watched the game at a place called legends..
It was all LSU fans.. they had LSU flags flying outside.. It was sweet.. I'm not sure if that's stricly for football or what.. but it's right across from the empire state building.
Here's the SITE

Legends.
It’s 6 West 33rd Street. The bar is across 33rd from the Empire State Building between 5th and 6th Avenues, but it’s basically at 5th Avenue.
Beer special is $4 domestic pints.

Turtle Bay shows FB, don't know about BB.

We don't meet at Turtle Bay any longer and the people who own it are from Jersey I believe. We met at Legend's for football but that is set to change this season as well from what I hear. There are several good sports bars on the East Side. Croxley on Ave B is good. Southern Hospitality (Justin Timberlake's bar and restaurant) will probably have the game. Just don't eat the BBQ because it is god awful. Also, Brother Jimmy's on Lexington should hopping. I doubt anyone will be at Legend's but you can check it out.

Used to be Blondies up on.... 73rd, maybe...east side.

So where did you wind up watching the game? My wife and I are in NYC on our honeymoon and we want to find a bar with some LSU fans, especially for the CWS Saturday.

Go to Legend's. There should be a contingent of LSU fans there.

Wow somebody actually used the search engine

Yeah, I haven't been caught with a "germans" yet because I do simple searches. Not sure if I'll get any responses, though. I just want to see some other LSU fans in this city.
ETA: Nevermind. I'll head to Legends.

Brother Jimmy's will most likely have Tiger fans all over the place... there are a few, but the one on the upper East side is more of an SEC bar and the one on Amsterdam is more ACC.

I was there for the Alabama football game this year and they had moved the Alumni party to another bar. Check the NYC Alumni website to see whats going on.

Two football seasons ago, I watched an LSU game at a bar on the east side of mid town. No where near the Empire State building. It was full of LSU people. My friend who lives in Westchester took me there. Anyone have a guess where I was?
