I'm trying to plan a trip to Omaha for the first weekend of cws games.
Does anyone know which bracket (1 or 2) LSU would be playing in? I am hoping they would be in bracket 1 but I figured i'd ask the rant experts as i am not very familar with the seeding process.

Since we are a 3 seed, I would think we will be in bracket 2.
1 vs. 8 plays 4 vs. 5
2 vs. 7 plays 3 vs. 6
Or whoever makes it in their place.

Won't know until they announce the super regionals on Monday. SRs starting on Friday will play on Saturday in the CWS. Saturday SRs will start Sunday.

Not sure if my post was real clear.
4 super regionals begin on Friday, June 5. Those 4 winners will be in the same CWS bracket and play on Saturday, June 13.
The other 4 SR winners (that begin on Saturday, June 6) will be in the other CWS bracket and play on Sunday, June 14.

I understood it. Praying we start on Sunday, as I have a wedding to attend in NOLA sat night

If it wasn't a really close friend I wouldn't. Better have a TV at the reception if we play sat night tho...
