If we win today, who will be the starters for the games tomorrow if we continue to win?

i'd tell you, but I don't feel like getting into the what if scenarios. Okay, i'll do it. It'll probably be 2 of the following 4:
Matulis, Cain, Bradshaw, Alsup

I'd go with Matulis and keep the rest for the pen. I'd hold out aslup in case we win again. I don't know who you start after that. Haydel? Jones? Byrd? Most likely would be Byrd, but I got a feeling he wouldn't last long, but you never know. If we make it through the next 2 we are going to need some serious offense.

I agree but I think he's our best middle reliever. He also seems to do better out of the pen.

After you get past our 3 weekend starters the rest of the staff is mediocre at best. Which worries me about the CWS.

That's why this tournament is important. We need to get as far as we can to see what we are dealing with if/when we get to Omaha. Hopefully, someone steps up big time.

Having watched Bradshaw, firsthand, against Vandy on Wed. I really do not think he is a Division 1 pitcher yet. His breaking stuff hangs up like a t-ball and his fastball clocks in at 81 mph. Add to all this the fact that he has poor control and ...well...let's don't do this OK?

He proved last year he is a D1 pitcher. He's having a tough season so far. Now is time to step it up and pitch to his potential.

Look... I don't pretend to be Peter Gammons or Dave "Soup" Cambell, but I did play ball some. It just looks to me like his mechanics are terrible. His release is jerky and not fluid, he has a poor push off the rubber and he shows the ball very early in the motion. He is probably a great kid, but it just is not there right now.

I agree he's not to form right now, but he has been before and needs to get it back soon.

"i dont think his fastball clocks in at 81 btw."
The really cool thing about the Regions Park is that every pitch is clocked...he topped out at 81 on Wed. That's my source, what's yours?

it was probably his changeup and you dont know the difference.

Let me put this as simply as I know how...the fastest pitch Bradshaw threw on Wed. was 81 mph. The Bama and SC fans I was sitting with were laughing at him. Do you understand?

I heard from an inside source that Trindon Holliday has been spending some time at pitcher during practice.
